Confirmation classes for 7th and 8th graders are on Wednesdays during “Wednesday School”. During this two-year program, we focus our study on the Bible and Martin Luther’s Small Catechism, with a sprinkling of other topics, including Christian spiritual practices (prayer, service), what we do in worship, and how did we get here (church history). Students also serve as acolytes on Sunday mornings and complete sermon notes while in worship. Students are invited to confirm their faith on Reformation Sunday, the last Sunday in October, early in their ninth grade year.
